Atlas Drives & Patios Ltd has been working on driveways, patios and gardens for many years. We are a family-run business and we have built our reputation by doing the basics properly: turning up when agreed, explaining the job clearly, using suitable materials and leaving customers with work we are proud to put our name to.

Our projects range from straightforward driveway resurfacing to larger exterior makeovers that combine paving, brickwork, fencing, turf and landscaping. We work with homeowners as well as commercial and property clients, and we are comfortable taking on both small improvements and more involved projects.

How we approach a job

Every property is different, so we start by looking at the site rather than assuming there is one standard solution. We consider access, levels, drainage, how the area will be used and the look you want to achieve. If there is more than one sensible option, we will talk you through the trade-offs in plain English so you can make an informed choice.

Preparation is especially important with driveways and patios. A beautiful surface can still fail if the base underneath has been rushed. We pay attention to excavation, sub-base, compaction, edging and falls before the final surface goes down. The same thinking carries into landscaping work: fencing needs secure posts, turf needs properly prepared soil and garden walls need sound foundations.
